Intelligent Design

Five chapters. Each one inherits the previous chapter's conclusion and earns the next. By the same standards of evidence and inference we use everywhere else — in physics, in history, in courtrooms — a Necessary Rational Mind is the conclusion the structure of reality forces. Existence, intelligibility, rational coherence, and the rules by which everything that exists hangs together cannot ground themselves. Something has to.

The argument isn't that naturalism has failed to explain some specific thing yet. It's that the kind of explanation naturalism offers is structurally insufficient to ground what actually needs grounding — necessity, normativity, intelligibility, rational coherence. These aren't gaps in a future theory. They're constraints any adequate ground has to satisfy — and only one kind of ground does.
